Welcome to Talking Flutes 'Extra'. Following the response from the interview with William Dowdall two weeks ago, we indugle ourselves for a little with some beautiful flute music from Ireland along with an interview with the technical director of TJ flutes David Farley. David speaks about his love for historic flutes and why he has designed and built a new affordable flute with open G# mechanism, his enthusiasm for looking back in to history, as well as forward on instrument design, and gives some advice on questions which have been sent in on Care & Mantenance of the instrument.
