Galway meeting hears call for action on funding and development of undergraduate GP placements

A meeting being held at University of Galway has heard calls for urgent action on funding and development of undergraduate GP placements.

The calls comes from the Irish College of General Practitioners and Association of University Department of General Practice in Ireland.

Dr Maureen Kelly, Lead Author and Associate Professor of the School of Medicine at the University of Galway, said that they are demanding action be taken in order to help address GP workforce crisis.
