1929's The Love Parade is considered the first movie musical and was nominated for six Academy Awards. And since it's being discussed on The Snub Club it shouldn't come as a surprise that it won none of them.
The Snub Club is a biweekly podcast about cinema history where we discuss the film with the most nominations but no wins.
Hosted by Danny, Sarah, and Caleb!
