Jan Basile, MD, talks about recent findings from his research on hypertension. Dr. Basile is professor of medicine in the Cardiology division at the Medical University of South Carolina. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He then completed his internship and residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he was chief resident. Dr. Basile is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Hypertension, and the American Heart Association.
