Grand Ave E is closed at the railroad tracks near Highway 40 for emergency railway repairs.  After nearly a month on the picket lines, striking Canada Post employees could soon be forced back to work. When the Canada Post strike is over the crown corporation may find it gets less business from small businesses. Negotiations ended between Unifor and Clear Medical Imaging on Friday when the company walked away from the table. The union that represents Ontario's public colleges is warning that faculty could be on strike in the new year. The Chatham-Kent Barnstormers have released their schedule for 2025.
