Canon Rath talked with the president of the Maxwell Wildcats Booster Club Marshall Robinson about the upcoming 4-man scramble at Lake Maloney.
NORTH PLATTE, NEB - Summer time is always that time of year to get out and enjoy the outdoors. It's also a good time to get a golf tournament rolling. The 9th annual Maxwell Wildcats Booster Club 4-person scramble is scheduled for August 5th at Lake Maloney golf course in North Platte.
The booster club has made it known that the money raised will not only be used for sports but used for all activities and to help purchase a new mascot costume. Some of the money is also set aside for a scholarship. "Maxwell Booster club is in charge of raising money all year long to help the school with certain items," said Maxwell Booster Club President Marshall Robinson.
The 4-person golf scramble fundraiser event to help raise money for different activities at Maxwell Public Schools is scheduled to take place on August 5th at Lake Maloney Golf Course. The event is open to anyone who wants to sign up and play in it. It cost $280 per team includes lunch and hole prizes.
