On Wednesday, February 10, host Gene Wilhelm started the show with a beautiful prayer to St. Joseph, then talked about St. José Luis Sánchez del Rio, a young Mexican Cristero who was put to death by government officials because he refused to renounce his Catholic faith. In the second segment of the show, Gene spoke with Dennis Daniel, the Executive Director for Central Texas Fellowship of Catholic Men, about this men’s fellowship. The Mission of the Central Texas Fellowship of Catholic Men (CTFCM) is to help men become stronger disciples of Christ. Check out centexcatholic.com to learn more. This is a year for rebuilding the ministry, as the effects of COVID and other outside sources have influenced its operation and events. This year, the CTFCM Conference will be held in person with limited attendance but will also be available virtually. You can sign up for the men’s conference here, which will be held on February 20, 2021 at St. William Catholic Church in Round Rock. Also, Dennis and the CTFCM have been instrumental in creating a home for free, Catholic video content through Heroic Men. Men, this episode is for you!
