Frustration over repeat delays to planned new Primary Care Centre in Spiddal

A Connemara councillor is expressing frustration over repeated delays to a planned new Primary Care Centre in Spiddeal. 

Planning permission was granted last year, but the project remains in the early stages with the appointment of a developer still some time away. 

At a meeting of the Health Forum West this week, Councillor Daithi O Culain was assured the project is being progressed. 

But he argues he's been given the same vague statements for years - and it's not good enough.
