When you look up at a crescent moon, there's a blurry, dimly lit outline that isn’t quite as bright as the crescent. This is FROM earthshine -- the sunlight reflected from Earth onto darker parts of the moon. Scientists have discovered that our planet's earthshine has been declining, and one of the reasons for this could be climate change.
