Scientists and climate change experts from around the world have been gathering in Dublin Castle today to see how Europe can adapt to the ravages of climate change.
The 6th European Climate Change Adaptation conference known as ECCA, is Europe’s flagship conference on climate change adaptation for Europe. It’s the first time the event is being held in Ireland.
Dr Frank McGovern the chief climate scientist with the Environmental Protection Agency, says the goal is to see what can be done to reduce the adverse impact of climate change on people, places and nature.
