Gaywaves interview with Ohio House candidate Jim Obergefell

The man who litigated his marriage at the U.S. Supreme Court and won marriage equality for all Americans is now running for a seat in the Ohio House of Representatives, and today he is our guest on Gaywaves. Jim Obergefell is the named litigant in Obergefell v. Hodges, the 2015 U.S. Supreme Court case winning same sex couples in the United States the right to marry. A Sandusky native, Obergefell wants to represent a NW Ohio district in the Ohio House, and if successful, he will be only the third openly LGBT person to do that.
