It is an oasis in the heart of Portland's Old Town. The Lan Su Chinese Garden is one of only six authentic Chinese gardens in North America. It is 40,000 square feet of peace, calm and respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. For this week's Where We Live, Ken Boddie talks to Scott Steele about the design of the garden, how it was built and the relationship with Portland's Sister City, Suzhou, China.
