John 20:1-31
As we study John's account of the events surrounding the resurrection of Jesus, we discover three different Greek words for "saw". When Mary saw the empty tomb, it was the physical act of seeing. When Peter saw inside the tomb, he took thoughtful attention to the details. When John entered the tomb, he saw and believed. He realized what had occurred. We may not have physically seen Him, but we see by faith in His Word.
