Guest: Bindiya Schaefer, author
Bindiya Schaefer grew up in the UAE and India. She worked as a tech journalist before switching to tech advertising. This provided a natural transition into writing science fiction. Her debut novel, Corinth 2642 AD is a futuristic murder-mystery. She explores race relations, gender, and more through this work. Her next project, a YA novel, seeks to explore Indian joy (something she finds missing from much of literature).
She is in an interracial relationship and she and Auntie Vice chat about the experience of being in interracial relationships.
