Leigh Howard Steven's five-decade-long career has been spent revolutionizing the art of playing marimba, from performing hundreds of recitals internationally, to codifying marimba technique in his Method of Movement, to designing mallets and instruments. He is a Percussive Arts Society Hall of Fame member and has been featured in several mainstream publications, including The Wall Street Journal and Time Magazine, which described him as "the world's greatest marimbist."
