The number of assaults overall jumped in Chatham-Kent last year compared to the year before while the number of murders went down, three local eateries in Chatham will be teaming up with a local mental health-focused charity to give back to the community on National Caesar Day, and a local conservation authority is now accepting scholarship applications ahead of the new school year -- starting in September.
