Green Chem won multiple awards and patents for innovation during this time. To give back to the community, he helped build schools for underprivileged children in South India.

Later, Krishna moved to the United States, where he earned his Master's in Logistics from MIT and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He was the sole recipient of the prestigious J Leslie Rollins Award at Harvard for his outstanding contribution to the community.
