Ronke Lawal honours Dr Maya Angelou.
If you listened to my podcast chat with Ronke earlier this year you will know that I am a total Ronke fan #Ronke4President (please can we get this trending?)
Ronke highlights Dr Angelou’s capacity to be whole, her ability to allow the essence of who she is to permeate through her multifaceted life rather than conform into the narrow society boxes society creates to confine us. Ronke speaks powerfully to Dr Angelou’s ability to be multifaceted and excellent whilst reflecting that we all have the ability to live this way. Ronke honours Dr Angelou for being a role model for powerful listening, acknowledging and apologising for making mistakes, embracing her wholeness knowing that mistakes are not defining factors. They make us human.
