Bimal Patel, prime minister Modi’s go-to architect, is revamping New Delhi’s Central Vista project, from Rashtrapati Bhavan on one end to India Gate on the other, building a triangular Parliament, converting South Block (which houses the ministries of external affairs, defence and the prime minister’s office) as well as North Block (which houses the ministries of Home & Finance) into museums and demolishing Shastri Bhavan, Krishi Bhavan etc. Listen to this interview with ThePrint’s Jyoti Malhotra.
