I am joined by author Matt Glasby to discuss the films that helped to define British cinema in the nineties and that he has labelled "Britpop Cinema".
From "Four Weddings..." through to the post-Britpop work of Shane Meadows with films like "This is England" and nineties classics like "Shallow Grave" and the one with the iconic poster and soundtrack Matt's book is a fascinating insight into a key component of the Britpop era.
The episode includes some strong language...if you normally listen with children or people of a sensitive disposition; don't!
