Join the Ciao St Louis Radio program this Sunday, July 23rd, 1pm - 3pm as we interview Dr. Cynthia Stollhans, Professor of Art History at St Louis University. Dr. Stollhans specializes in the art of the Italian Renaissance. She travels yearly to Italy giving lectures and conferences. Her book "St Catherine of Alexandria in Renaissance Roman Art" explains why a medieval female saint from the Eastern Mediterranean came to be such a powerful symbol in early modern Rome. She is currently finishing a new book entitled: "Renaissance Roman Mistresses: Lives, Lovers and Art."
