Will Marriage Equality Reverberate?

Many of the states that have legally recognized same-sex marriage have done so via judicial ruling. In New York, a similar result occurred, but via the legislative branch, when both the State Assembly and the Republican-controlled State Senate passed a marriage equality bill. Will this move spur action in other states or on the national level? Also, what impact will the new property tax cap have?
