Lifegiver- Military Marriage & Leadership
Government
Why is it so hard to apologize? These two words, "I'm Sorry", seem to throw off children and adults every time, catapulting people into further conflict. In this episode, we wrap up the marriage and intimacy series and introduce the leadership series by going back to the basics of conflict resolution and the dreaded apology.
We will cover:
1) The common responses of defensiveness that come up when we ask another person to change or address our hurt.
2) Whether intentions matter.
3). How to accept imperfection in ourselves and others while still asking for change, and
3) The critical importance and goal of learning how to repair conflict faster.
