They may have started as a highly aggressive and pissed off punk band,but Joliet's Prison City Brigade has evolved into a more melodic and progressive act on their third akbum,Rough Skeletons. I'll spin 2 tracks from it before they take their new mature sound for crowds to experience at Brauerhouse in Lombard for the first weekend of October.

Sounding like they could have fit right in with the jangly guitar driven (and slightly electronic) power pop of Cheap Trick and Off Broadway, The Bishop's Daredevil Stunt Club of Frankfort made a big change from funky,psychedelic hard rock to melodic upbeat guitar rock.
