Once upon a time, a war raged between the planets of Aneth and Skonos. Now the vanquished Anethans must pay an annual tribute to the victorious Skonons. However, there is a darker purpose to this tradition.

This week, Paddy and Tricia watch as The Doctor and co. find themselves trapped in an emerging black hole that has also ensnared the latest batch of tributes. Can they escape from the crushing force of the black hole and save the Anethans from the power of The Horns of Nimon?
