Did you know that as your knowledge grows your confidence actually goes down?!! As you become more aware of what there is to know you also become aware of how much you yet have to learn. That can be scary for a lot of trainers. So, in fear, trainers sometimes stay with only newbie clients because they're safe, and they close their minds to new thoughts and ideas that challenge what they believe to be true. When this happens the trainer stops learning and thus stops improving, but in order to shield themselves from the reality of that situation they'll create a false sense of knowledge and superiority... what a horrible combination!!! Someone who thinks they know everything when in reality they know very little. How can we avoid this mistake for ourselves?
