As baseball season begins I want to have some conversations about our “National Pastime” does more for us by the players and teams who participate in the game.
Being part of a team was a lesson today’s guest learned early on from his family and through life experiences. Baseball and sports have been important but knowing that is only a part of what brings us all together. Jake learned the value of people showing up in life and how communities pull together during the most trying times. Learning how to experience the highs and lows of life has created Jake to be a forward thinking and leader in his community. Being an athlete is something Jake has done but participating in the growth of others and charitable endeavors is who he is.
