This week’s first guest is Erica Farmer. Erica has over 20 years of learning and development experience with some of the UKs best known brands such as LV=, British Gas, Specsavers and Virgin. She is an engaging and passionate speaker who is often invited to keynote at learning and education conferences and events. Erica’s area of specialism is the future of work and skills, digital learning and challenge the quality of our education systems. Erica also shares lived experience with mental health and neurodivergence.
Erica is passionate about providing opportunities in business, specifically driving innovation and thought leadership. Recent examples is the work around AI and hosting ‘AI for the Average Joe’ podcast, with the aim of ‘making the complex, simple’.
In 2022 Erica has become a LinkedIn Learning Instructor, a TEDx speaker and member of the AI in Skills and Work forum.
Our second guest is Rachel Grant. Rachel is currently working as the Project Manager for online learning at the Mental Health Foundation, one of the UK’s leading mental health charities where she creates digital courses to empower, educate and inspire the nation to lead more mentally healthy lives. With a background in working with vulnerable children and young people as well as teaching in schools, Rachel has experience in supporting people with a range of mental health needs and is passionate about breaking down the taboo that exists around mental health.
