Episode 213 features Gordon Anderson from the North Carolina punk band Oort Patrol. I will likely be focusing on the Raleigh/Durham area a bit this month and Oort Patrol is our first guest. They are also dropping a brand new EP July 12th and I featured two songs from it which have not been released yet, so if you are friends of fans of Gordon’s, you will hear them first on the this episode. I featured “Flying Saucer Working Party” and “Soylent Majority” which are loosely Sc-Fi themed and we talked a bit about them in the interview. We also discussed Gordon’s job working for the local newspaper and some his interests in writing. Definitely check out Oort Patrol on their socials and watch for the their new music coming out soon. Thanks for listening and supporting local music.
