Oppressing the poor, taking advantage of the needy, and perpetuating injustice are all things that run counter to the heart of God. We like to think that we are above these things, but we must consider: are we? Jesus died and rose again to free those who place their trust in him from their spiritual poverty and oppression, and he has tasked those who follow him with fighting on behalf of these people. What will you do to make a change?
