While we wouldn’t want to be bored, most people would choose order and predictability over anxiety and turmoil any day!
However, life has a habit of throwing change and uncertainty at us. Jamie suggests that trying to fight uncertainty ‘tooth and nail’ or force it back into neat categories may be an unhelpful strategy - and one that doesn’t fit with the biblical witness. Instead, Faith calls us to Trust in something outside (and higher) than our own comprehension… And to make peace with a ‘certain uncertainty’.
