The Chinese Communist Party’s “capture” of American “elites” has decisively helped Beijing wage “unrestricted warfare” against our country for decades.

Especially damaging have been its “old friends” in America’s financial sector who have underwritten with our money the economic and military build-up of the People’s Republic of China.

Sequoia Capital’s Neil Shen is one such enabler of Chinese hegemonic ambitions. He reportedly is not merely among Beijing’s friends. He actually has worked for the regime there, helping it gain potentially decisive advantages by acquiring and developing militarily relevant U.S. technologies.

Unfortunately, a promising House Intelligence Committee investigation into such assistance was shut down after Sequoia made large contributions to Kevin McCarthy’s Victory Fund.

Sounds like another good reason to fire the Speaker.
