Ceren is originally from Istanbul, Turkey. After having been to an international high school in Istanbul, she realised she wanted to continue her education abroad. She graduated from the University of Utrecht with BSc in Economics and Business Economics, and from the Rotterdam School of Management with MSc in Finance and Investments. Before starting her full-time entrepreneurial journey, she worked at ABN AMRO Bank as Associate Global Markets and The Citco Group of Companies. 

She has been a full-time fashion and impact entrepreneur since July 2020, focusing on sustainable and circular business models to change the fashion industry for the better. She has launched her first company Wearebasics back in 2021 and is now on to launching another project in 2022.
