Emmelie de Forest talks ”Typical Love Song” at Eurovision Weekend Stuttgart 2021

Eurovision 2013 winner Emmelie de Forest is back with the new single "Typical Love Song" — an interpolation of Alphaville's 1984 hit "Big in Japan." In this English-language interview, she tells our Rick about working on the song during the pandemic and making the music video with her boyfriend. She also touches on the difficulties of singing in Danish; gives her assessment of why Denmark struggled at Eurovision 2021; and speaks about the opportunities that Eurovision has created for her.
