Episode: 00121
Release Date: August 22, 2022
Description: Our guest this week worked her way through several law enforcement positions before landing her current analytical role but Dana Boss wouldn’t change a thing because each position has helped her in crime analysis. In records, Dana got to know the local gang members due to a special research project, as a community service officer she learned the layout of the city on patrol, and from going to the academy she learned the elements of crime and applicable laws. Her badge story is about a homicide investigation involving communication app analysis. Dana discusses her true crime obsession (ask her about her favorite serial killer) and also tells us how she got involved with the Cold Case Foundation. Dana is currently a Crime Analyst for the Reedley, California Police Department.
This episode also features our fan-favorite section “Don’t Be That Analyst”.
