Last Word on Habs Pod: Three Games LeftThe Montreal Canadiens only have three games left in the 2018-19 NHL season. Connor and Johannes recap the Habs big week. For the second time in three games, the Habs came up short against a team they are battling for a playoff spot.
Still, the Habs started their brutal final stretch of games with a win over the Jets in Winnipeg. Now all the team has to do is sweep Tampa Bay, Washington and Toronto to give themselves a chance at the postseason. Shockingly Connor and Johannes have some bold predictions about the final week.
The guys then discuss the unfortunate injury to Paul Byron. They debate whether fighting should still have a place in the game. They wonder what exactly the 'code' is and why Byron even accepted the fight.
All this and Jesperi Kotkaniemi, big games down the stretch, optimism, the hockey gods, winners and losers and much much more!
