“Heightened urgency” on increased defence spending – Donohoe

Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe says it’s “absolutely evident” that defence spending in Europe will increase even further in the years ahead. He was speaking in Brussels today where finance ministers from the Eurogroup have been meeting. Minister Donohoe, who’s President of the Eurogroup, told journalists after the meeting, that the mood among the ministers was one of “heightened urgency” on the need for Europe to look after its own security.
