Lake Ontario, St. Lawrence: Highs & Lows

The International Joint Commission (IJC), a bi-national organization that helps Canada and the U.S. manage their shared water, has proposed a new plan for water levels in Lake Ontario & the St. Lawrence River. The plan, BV7, would raise the maximum water level and reduce the minimum which would help regenerate the ecosystem. Although environmentalists are in support of the proposal, many homeowners are not.
