This week, actor Jonathan Forbes joined Jarlath on the set of ITV's 'Fearless' to discuss his journey of hard graft, success and embracing adversity.
Despite starting out his career starring alongside Chris O'Dowd in 'Conspiracy of Silence', Jonathan explains how working in a kitchen was the best thing that ever happened to him (53:00) and the importance of failures in appreciating success (55:00). Jonathan also outlines how landing a lead role straight out of drama school saw him auditioning for big parts in 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'King Arthur', while feeling as though he didn't belong there (26:00), before discussing the process of understanding rejection as an actor (35:00).
From speaking about the Irish relationship with self-deprivation (31:00), his embarrassing audition for 'Catastrophe' (45:00) to the challenges of finding love as an actor (1:12:00), this conversation is a very entertaining chat with one of Ireland's fastest rising on-screen talents.
