The church's new policy bans all children from receiving blessings, ordinances, callings, and missions if they are living in a same-sex household until they are 18. At that time, children must disavow the practice of same-sex cohabitation or marriage, and they must stop living with their gay parent(s) in order to become a fully participating member or to maintain their status as a member in good standing.
