Message: The Garden Part 5: Exile & Grace - Jamie Fredricks
In the final message of this section of our study through Genesis, we consider the remainder of chapter 3. Following the grave pronouncements over the Serpent, God turns to the man and woman. Jamie reflects on whether these ‘curses’ are a form of punishment, or simply a sad explanation of the consequences of human beings going their own way. This story calls to mind much of the anxiety and struggle that is characteristic of the human experience; But it also has elements of Grace and Hope, and sets up the wider themes of the good news.
