The Doctor Dads sat down with Dr. Niels Pedersen and discussed the oral cavities role in root cause of many chronic diseases. Dr. Niels shares his personal journey with removing amalgams from his mouth and seeing drastic improvements in his health just days after the removal. This episode touches on the importance of looking into the unknowns with your health and to not focus on the certainties.

Dr. Niels J Pedersen, D.C. is a Wisconsin-born, Chicago-raised functional medicine fanatic.  

After starting his first practice in Denver, CO he became severely  ill and was unable to find the answers that he needed through conventional medicine. Having sought and successfully received treatment through a functional medicine approach which in turn drove him to pursue functional medicine,  Dr. Pedersen has successfully treated and been part of 1000s of cases in which chronic illnesses were reversed – allowing these individuals to live more rewarding, higher-quality lives. Empowered by the transformations he observed in his patients, Dr. Pedersen has opened multiple offices to reach the masses, but his journey still continues.  Over the past 10 years Dr. Pedersen has been tirelessly connecting the dots between our diagnosis and the real underlying issue.  He consistently travels 25 or more times a year to seminars, speaking engagements, mastermind groups, and more to continue his education and share what he has learned. 

On this path back to health he has found that there are many things that need to be addressed which has now lead him and his wife to a new passion... the connection between our Mouth and Chronic disease.
