Absentee ballots early voting and voting at the polls on Election Day
We're going to take a few minutes to clear up some of the confusion that you might have concerning early voting in Ohio. Last week, Secretary of State Frank LaRose mailed out an Application for Absentee Ballot to all of Ohio's 7.8 million registered voters. He did not mail out voting ballots but simply an application to vote by mail through the application for absentee ballot process. It is estimated that 40% of Ohio voters will vote by mail this election. There are three ways for you to vote in Ohio: Vote by mail by requesting an application for absentee ballot, voting early at the Board of Elections starting on October 6th and ending on November 2nd, and as we have traditionally done - voting at the polls on Election Day November 3rd.
