For gamers of a certain age, Wakka conjures up not everybody's favourite Blitzball player, but of arcade's earliest and biggest success. Pac-Man 99, the latest in Arika's run of battle royale reinventions, is an attempt to build on the legacy of one of gaming's greatest heroes, the diminutive little puck man himself.
