Pure science: Brain scans of long Covid patients show tissue damage, grey matter loss, size shrinkage

In a first, a study compared brain scans of patients before and after they caught covid, observing physical changes in the brain months after infection. These include tissue damage in areas relating to smell, loss of grey matter, reduced cognition, and overall reduction in brain volume.
