Findings of the Yumbox Pilot Program will be presented. This program distributed Yumbox, a bento-style lunchbox with sections labeled for MyPlate, to preschool parents and caretakers, leveraging visibility principles Behavioral Economics Theory to encourage them to pack more nutritious foods for lunch. Lunches of this preschool were compared to a similar control preschool to evaluate the effectiveness of the Yumbox in improving the nutrition of packed lunches.
