At the stroke of Midnight (Eastern Standard Timezone) on New Years Day Paul McCartney dropped the new song "Get Enough." This was the third and final Ryan Tedder production. Since it was not released on his latest LP this could very well be a preview to one of the tracks that may eventually be on the "Egypt Station" deluxe box set come May/June time frame. This song has had quite the reaction as many McCartney fans question his latest experimental exploration into the world of 2018 contemporary.
Tom Hunyady and David Gargalino tackle the new track and discuss how this lines up with his career choices of reaching into the flavor of the current era to try as his own. Many times throughout McCartney's career he has worked with the "Current" or 'It" producers/artists to incorporate the current sound into his songs. "Egypt Station" was no exception to his desire to strike it hot with the latest sounds and producers. We also talk about our favorite experimental tracks from his almost 50 year post-Beatles career as to bring it full circle of understanding what an artist Paul McCartney really is.
