The Easter story is familiar to all of us. And every year we have a chance to see what the story of death and resurrection means to us in the context of our own lives. When Jesus died to his human life, he surrendered himself to God completely. In this he allowed the promise of life eternal to come to its full manifestation. Lucky for us (and as demonstrated by the example of Jesus), we don't have to die physically to be reborn continually! Our surrendering to God on a sincere and regular basis prepares us to receive exactly what is required for our spiritual growth and fulfillment. And we are blessed abundantly, in ways we had not yet imagined!
