The Mystery of Parenthood is a show on RED-C Catholic Radio, headquartered in College Station, Texas. On the Feast of St. Ignatius of Antioch, Trey Cashion explains the need of parents to emphasize to their children God's use of material things to connect us as human beings to Him. Just as children are gradually taught how to properly use their bodies to communicate and express themselves, so they should be taught how outward signs such as the sign of the cross and the mass can bring them closer to God. Our memory verse this week is Colossians 1:15, "[Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation." Remember to pray, parent with a purpose, and prepare for God to amaze you!
