Dr. Arthur C. Brooks spoke to Oakcrest School on February 13, 2017 on Life Lessons from the World’s Greatest Composers as part of our annual O’Donovan Humanities Lecture Series.
Dr. Brooks is president of the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank in Washington, DC. Before his work in academia and public policy, he spent 12 years as a classical musician in the United States and Spain. A professional French hornist, he played with groups including the Annapolis Brass Quintet in Baltimore and the City Orchestra of Barcelona.
